Título: Monomialization at Degenerate Fixed Points in Two Complex Variables
Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss a two-dimensional analogue of Böttcher coordinates for holomorphic maps with degenerate fixed points. The main objects are perturbations of monomial maps associated with hyperbolic matrices in $SL(2,\mathbb Z)$. Although the fixed point is superattracting, so the derivative carries no useful information for linearizing the dynamics, the map can still be monomialized after passing to suitable local coordinates. I will explain how this local conjugacy is constructed, how it extends to the whole attracting basin in an adapted Farey blow-up, and how this allows the perturbed dynamics to inherit features of the unperturbed monomial map.
Esperamos vocês!
