Título: From blow-ups to exceptional collections on log del Pezzo surfaces
Resumo: I’ll start with the classical geometry of smooth del Pezzo surfaces and then look at what happens when we allow quotient singularities. I’ll focus on log del Pezzo surfaces with singularities of type 1/3(1,1), explaining their minimal resolutions and how they fit into the Corti–Heuberger classification. The main example will be a degree-ten hypersurface in P(1,2,3,5), whose minimal resolution can be obtained by blowing up eight points on the Hirzebruch surface F₃. Towards the end, I’ll explain how this geometric picture leads to exceptional collections on the associated canonical stacks. The talk is based on my recent work (arXiv:2606.18238).
